How Online GCSE & A Level Tutoring Works
My online tutoring is designed to be simple, flexible, and highly effective for GCSE Maths and Science students. Each one-to-one session is tailored to your child’s needs, delivered via secure video call on Zoom from the comfort of your own home. Using interactive digital whiteboards, screen sharing, and real-time problem-solving, I break down complex topics into clear, engaging lessons that help students grasp concepts with ease. With targeted practice and instant feedback, students build both understanding and confidence in their abilities.
Free Introduction Taster Lesson
Every student begins with a consultation and a short, free half-hour lesson. In this call, we can discuss current grades, exam boards and targets. We can talk about any strengths, knowledge gaps and any confidence issues. We can also agree how often lessons should take place and determine our plan moving forward.
Flexible Online Tutoring Schedule
I offer flexible lesson times around school, activities, and family commitments. I have after‑school, evening sessions and weekend lessons available. I also offer the ability to increase the frequency of lessons in the run‑up to mock exams and final GCSEs or to have breaks over holidays.
Easy Online Setup on laptop or tablet
Online tutoring sessions take place using Zoom. Before the first lesson, you will receive a link to join the session. No special equipment is needed beyond a laptop or tablet, a stable internet connection, and perhaps if you would like some headphones. Assistance with setting up can be provided if needed.
Fully Interactive Online STEM Lessons
Lessons are fully interactive, utilising digital whiteboards to explain methods step-by-step. Through real-time screen sharing, we work through past papers and targeted practice questions. Every session is one-to-one, so the pace is entirely flexible, ensuring your child truly masters each topic before moving on to the next.
